The pop star showed off her new raven locks while stepping out at the Mondrian Hotel in Los Angeles on December 28.

While this isn’t the first time Spears has rocked a dark hairstyle–she sported a similar look while promoting her “Blackout” album–this hue is definitely more mature and a refreshing departure from her over processed, blonde strands we’re used to seeing.
